Teco TK-1000 Chiller/Heater

Teco chillers have long been a product of choice among aquarium enthusiasts the world over. Teco, which is headquartered in Italy, recently decided that it was time to update the popular Seachill product line with new features in design, efficeincy, and overall aesthetic quality. Today we would like to introduce you to some of the changes that Teco has made to their Seachill product line. Available in 6 different sizes, Teco series TK chillers are rated for use with a range of aquariums starting from small/nano and going all the way up to 1300 gallons.

Ratings & Features

Seachill TK-150 - The TK-150 Chiller is rated for aquarium up to 40 gallons and it will provide a 9 degree pull down with an ambient room temperature of 86 degrees. If you room is 86 degrees then it will be possible to bring the water temperature down to 77 degrees. The Teco TK-150 features a compact footprint of 14.21" x 8.46" x 12.4" but this unit does not offer an internal heater option like the larger Teco Seachill models.

Seachill TK-500 - The TK-150 Chiller is rated for aquarium up to 130 gallons and it will provide a 9 degree pull down with an ambient room temperature of 86 degrees. If you room is 86 degrees then it will be possible to bring the water temperature down to 77 degrees with 130 gallons of total water volume. The Teco TK-500 features a compact footprint of 12.2" x 12.2" x 16.38". The TK-500 unit come with a pre-installed 400 watt heater unit.

Seachill TK-1000 - The TK-150 Chiller is rated for aquarium up to 260 gallons and it will provide a 9 degree pull down with an ambient room temperature of 86 degrees. If you room is 86 degrees then it will be possible to bring the water temperature down to 77 degrees with 130 gallons of total water volume. The Teco TK-1000 features a relatively compact footprint of 12.2"x12.2"x18.03". The TK-1000 unit comes pre-installed with a 400 watt heater unit.
