Neptune Systems Automatic Feeding System and AI Wireless Module Coming Soon
The guys over at Neptune Systems have come out with two new additions to their line of high quality aquarium controllers and accessories. Due in November, the Automatic Feeding System and AI Wireless Module are sure to be fine additions to the Neptune line.
The Neptune Systems Automatic Feeding System (AFS) is a product that has been asked for by our customers for a long time. We have worked to perfect a product that has the following key characteristics:
- Feeds pellet or flake food in varying amounts
- Apex can be set so that the AFS will feed from one time to as many times as you like throughout the day
- Connects via the Apex Aquabus
- "Stay Dry" system has a sealed food container that extends and retracts for each feeding. This keeps food dry and prevents clumping.
- The lowest setting feeds just a few grains of pellet food so multiple small feedings are possible
- Allows for optimal feeding -- small amounts many times a day
- Feedings can be combined with other operations such as powering off return pumps, skimmer, etc. and then automatically turning them back on after a set amount of time.
- Adjustable mounting clip extends up to two inches (or velcro can be used) so it will work in almost every aquarium configuration.
- Includes 110V or 220V power transformer.
- Includes 10' AquaBus Cable
- Compatible with the Apex, Apex Lite, and Apex Jr. AquaControllers.
For years the Apex has given owners of the AI Sol lights a great way to control their tank lighting. Over the last year we have seen more and more people buying up the AI Vega and AI Hydra lights that use a wireless control interface. Our user base has been screaming for a way to control these lights. And with the news that AI just announced the Hydra 52 at MACNA, let’s just say the time has come! Soon, with the Neptune Systems AquaIlluminations (AI) Wireless Module (AWM) you will be able to control all the lighting color channels on your AI Vega, Hydra or Hydra 52 lights. Here are some of the highlights:
- Enables control of the AI Vega, Hydra, and Hydra 52 (but not AI Sols with wireless dongle)
- Connects via Apex AquaBus
