The Alternative Reef hase been using the same material since 2006 and many of their original pieces are still in aquariums today. Their disks and plugs work great for lps, sps, soft corals and polyps. The surface is rough to the touch and extremely porous. They will not crumble like concrete/aragonite plugs and do not require an additional six weeks of curing before you can use them. Super glue gels holds tight.
The Alternative Reef Micro Plugs require no curing and can be used right out of the bag. The Alternative Reef Micro Plugs are ceramic and reef safe. The Alternative Reef Micro Plugs coralline up quickly and the post can be removed by many common fragging tools.
