This "Clam Holder" is the perfect solution for that naughty clam. I have a Maxima that would CONSTANTLY jump off the rock I carefully balanced it on and fall to the sand. It was a pain, and dangerous for the clam.
Since placing my clam (T. Maxima) on the hammock, it has attached its Byssal threads and is happily extended and growing
The holder does NOT attract algae, and I am just starting to see coralline growth
