The Misbar Ocellaris is an appealing fish are Ocellaris clownfish that are missing their caudal stripe or have an incomplete center stripe. Occasionally they may have an incomplete head bar as well.
Their unusual patterns make them very popular with hobbyists who appreciate unique specimens. ORA does not selectively breed misbars, they occur naturally in aquaculture during larval development. Since each fish will have a slightly different stripe pattern, they are all distinct and individually recognizable.
The Extreme Misbar Ocellaris has even less white than the typical Misbar making this fish quite rare. Sometimes only having a head bar or a tail dot, some of the patterns on these fish are truly awesome and outrageous.
They’re considered to be some of the most attractive and unique clownfish we offer. Extreme Misbar patterns are the least commonly observed stripe mutation, and for that reason are highly desirable but limited in quantity.
