The Majano Wand is an easy and effective tool for ridding your tank of pesky anemones like Majanos and Aiptasia. It works by breaking down the water molecules in the cells of the anemone into hydrogen gas and oxygen. This forces the cells to expand and burst, to disintegrate the anemone on contact.

The Majano Wand Mini makes eliminating pest anemones simple and effective. Using 12V low-voltage electrolysis, it breaks down water molecules within the anemone's cells, causing them to expand and burst on contact. No chemicals, no risk of shock to your tank or its inhabitants. At 25.5 inches with a 60-inch lead wire, the Standard size is ideal for larger or deeper aquariums. The wand and cord are fully submersible up to the push button, so you can reach even the most hidden pests. Simply pierce the anemone with the metal tip while holding the button. Repeat until it turns white and gooey, then remove the residue. For smaller tanks or tight spaces, the Mini 5-inch model is also available.

Pro Tips:
- Do not release the button between pokes. The wand only kills the tissue in direct contact with the needle at the moment of activation. Slide the needle tip continuously along the anemone body while holding the button down to ensure full coverage. Any surviving tissue can regrow quickly.
- Watch for white goo — that is confirmation of a kill. A dead anemone turns white and gooey. Remove the material from the tank as soon as it detaches to keep it out of the water column. If any tissue still appears alive after treatment, go back over it with the tip before calling it done.
- Respect the usage time limits by tank volume. The wand releases gases into the water during use. Exceeding the per-session time limits for your tank volume stresses livestock. See the usage chart in the Instructions tab and wait a full hour before the next session.
