Royal Exclusiv Red-Dragon pump, the only submerged-pump on market built with ultra-hard silicon carbide bearings. That means that there is no measurably abrasion. No need to change bearings as with cheaper carbon or ceramic - bearings. Silicon carbide is one of the hardest bearing materials world-wide! Unbreakable axles - These axles where exclusively designed and only built for the RED-DRAGON pumps. High gloss polished, ultra-harder special alloy, absolute saltwater resistant fully abrasion-proof, up-to 87 % topped true characteristics and a 200-fold smoother surface as ceramic axles. Minimized wattage through lower frictions up-to 8%. Minimizing of resonance vibrations, no lime deposits on the axles.
The Axles are CNC-high-precision-polished with 5/1000 mm degree of accuracy. New: anti-lime-bypass, against calcifications A separate bypass-pipe, rinses thorough the impeller and impeller chamber and works against calcification. The maintenance-interval is extended by the bypass and limits/slows lime precipitation deposits in the pump. An excellent pump choice where heavy lime water usage is present such as in SPS aquariums.
