Chemical filter sponge for removing water impurities such as nitrates, phosphates, silicates, ammonia, copper, and chlorine and parasitic medications after treatment. Turns brownish in color when it needs to be replaced. Can be used in conventional power filters, under-gravel filters or simply placed in a high flow, high by-pass area of the sump.
