Optional Quartz Sleeve Wipers
Quartz sleeve wipers allow for easy removal of soft waste deposits without interrupting UV operation. Quartz sleeve wipers systems will not remove scaling on the sleeve caused by mineral deposits (i.e. calcium deposits). These types of deposits can only be removed by chemical means, such as an acid bath.
25 Watt Aquarium SMART UV Sterilizer with 1.5" union inlet/outlets, a 3" diameter body, and a single 25 watt uv lamp and quartz sleeve. The 25 watt SMART UV offers a suggested flow rate of 472 GPH and a maximum flow rate of 788 GPH for aquariums of up to 130 US Gallons, and for targeting waterborne Algae and harmful Bacteria. Great for Fresh and Salt Water Aquariums.
